Marc from the Ahr region – also known as „grappa“ like the Italians call it. In Germany, the well-known and popular marc is made from Pinot Noir. The extorted wine berries with their aromatic oils and ester are the source of the marc. They’re stored according to tradition – inside oakwood barrels. The wine gets its mild bouquet from being matured in the classic way.
